My computer died! (notebook) Now I am using the old one. It is too slow.

All my files!!!!!! In the store they told me that they will try to save what they can. They told me also not to be too optimistic ;(  Probably the hard disc is broken but they didn´t tell me anything further.

I don´t even know what happened. One moment I was reading some stuff and then it suddenly stopped working. Only black screen. I didn´t do anything. 

And I am moving to Olomouc tommorow. I don´t know what I should to.

I returned from US on tuesday. It was the greatest trip I ever had. I hope I will return there next year or the year after. 

The trip began when I realized I am  actually going to US. It happened when I was on the plane. Till then I didn´t really get it. It was always my dream to go to US. That is why I wanted to study English - to go there and meet american people. The first flight was quite short - about an hour and half. The first flight was Prague-Paris. But the flight from Paris to New York was really long. At least I thought so (but it was before the flight from US). I can´t simply sit somewhere 8 hours. We flew with Air France and their plane was a bit more modern. We had all our own television - so I watched movies. But even that was not really comfortable. I started to write Loveless fanfic. 
The longest I flew before this flight was to Rhodos or Tunisia. Not sure which was further. And it took max. 3 hours.
Finally we landed at JFK at about 8pm. I spent in NY 4 days. Then began the trip across the east cost. (New Jersey, Syracuse, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Pitsburg, Lancaster, Gettysburg, Washington, Philalphia and then back to JFK)
From JFK we flew with American Airlines to LA where we spent some time. We saw Santa Monica (I have sand from beach), Venice, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Hollywood Blvd, Sunset Blvd, Chinese theatre, Rodeo Drive (where Pretty Woman - Julia Roberts was shopping and the hotel where she and Richard Gere stayed) One whole day we went to Universal Studios. 
Then we went to Arizona (Yucca Valley, Lake Havasu, Williams). The trip across west coast was mainly about going to National Parks (Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon). I flew in helicopter throught Grand Canyon and in was unbeliavable. The canyon is so big. This is one of not many things I thougt it will actually be big. When I saw White House my first reaction was: "That Small??" 

But apart from that we went also to Las Vegas. :D We stayed in Imperial Palace. This hotel is arranged in
Chinese style. The casino was magnificent. I´ve never say real casino. But unfortunatelly I couldn´t try a game. I am  not 21. ;(

The last stop before going home was San Francisco. After NY I loved this city most. When I return to US I am sure I visit "Frisco" again. 

Then the last thing remained - the flight to home. The worst 12 hours. I was sure that there will be television again since it is longer than Paris-NY. So I didn´t take anything to read with me. (I´ve already finished HPDH) I bought the book in Washington.

I hope there are not many grammar mistakes. It is 2:25am.
I wrote a review of the book but I am already tired so maybe I will type it here later. And also I will post some pictures.

I feel really bad that I am not updating my journal. But I have some troubles with school and don´t have access to internet in my room. Only time I can do this is between lectures and there is always looong queue!! And everyone can see what are you typing! I have that my school can´t provide more technical equipment!!!

So what did I do in january? Exams, exams, exams. Ohhhh :( And still one to go!! :( Now I am at home for a bit. Since the beginning of the year I was home about 4 times ;(.

I am going to watch tv and maybe some DVDs and then sleep. And of course then studying for my phonetics and phonology exam. ;(

I also deleted last entries, because the pictures didn´t work and I have no time to reupload them ... And it looks awfull - only blank squares ...
